Lodge 2 Amenities
We’ve tried to be as thoughtful as possible with the layout and features of the Lodge to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. We hope the following information helps you take advantage of the many amenities we have installed to make your life easy.
Ski Storage
The easiest way to access the Lodge with skis or other gear is through the garage door. We have installed a digital keypad next to the left garage door for easy keyless entry. Simply enter the code, hit enter, and you are in the “locker room” where you can store your skis in the rack and your boots on the automated drying system. We’ve provided some open shelving for helmets where they can dry overnight as well.
How to Use the Boot Dyer:
- The dryer is set to come on automatically from 10:00 to midnight, and then again from 5:00 a.m. to 7 a.m. to ensure your boots are dry and ready for the next day no matter how late you make it home.
- The dryer has 2 heat settings. 1 is room temperature. II is about 10 degrees above room temperature so no damage will be done to custom foot beds or liners.
- The dryer is set to the “auto” function. If you need to turn it on at other times than those listed above, simply turn the dial to “manual”, as shown below.
Boot/Poles/Helmets Storage
Place the boots on the dryer as shown with the toes up. If you have extra space, you can also dry your gloves on the dryer or lay them on the provided racks for overnight drying.
Ski/Snowboard Storage
The provided rack will accommodate all of your ski and snowboarding equipment. Please do not bring skis/snowboards into the Lodge and take advantage of the “locker room” we have provided in the garage to store all of your gear.
Hot Tub
The Hot Tub itself is easy to use. The easiest way to remove the cover is worth a brief explanation. We wanted to maximize the size of the tub so there isn’t a lot of room to store the cover. We’ve installed a cover holder on the backside of the tub that makes the process simple and easy once you know how it works.
- Unbuckle and Open the cover half way
- Enter the tub and simply push the cover up and out of the way. If it is windy, you can push the Lock Bar down to lock the cover in place.
- When ready to close, simply pull down on the cover as you exit the tub. If you have pushed the Lock Bar down, you will need to pull the bar up as you pull the cover closed. If you need to close it from outside, please walk along the window side of the tub to pull it down.
Entertainment Systems
The Lodge is set up with the latest entertainment systems and we hope you find them all easy to use. Here are a few quick tutorials on how to use the systems.
SONOS Audio System
From any of the provided iPads you can simply tap the SONOS app on the screen and follow the prompts. You can use any internet music source you prefer and enjoy the stations other clients have added or simply add your own stations to Pandora Radio, Radio TuneIn, or any of the other internet music sources you like to use.
If you would like to use your own phone or tablet as the music source, simply download the free SONOS app and follow the prompts. You can then use your device to control the music source and volume level in every room. (You can also adjust the volume and play/pause from any speaker with the button found on the speaker)
We hope you find the SONOS system to be easy and fun to use. Please call Chad if you have any questions on how to use the system or visit Sonos.com to learn more about the system.
Televisions
All of the televisions are set up with HD Cable and Apple TV. The Media Room has an X-Box for game playing and DVD watching. Please feel free to sign in with your personal iTunes or Netflix account to watch movies. Remember to log out at the end of your stay, or we can always log you out if you forget.
Remotes
All TVs equipped with Apple TV have an RTI remote that controls all sources. Just press the Green button to begin.
Kitchen Appliances
We have done our best to ensure you have every amenity needed for all of your food preparation and entertaining needs. Please let us know if you need anything that we have not provided. Here are a few shortcuts for the appliances that might not be straightforward. All of the User Manuals are located in the drawer next to the washer and dryer in the Laundry Room.
Nespresso
- Remove and fill the water reservoir.
- Unlock and open the top
- Install flavor pod you would like
- Shut the top and move the lever to Locked position (this is the step people forget. It must be locked before it will brew)
- Push the start button on the top of the machine.
- Enjoy!
Coffee Maker Auto On Programming (instructions in the drawer below the coffee maker)
- Hold the PROG/AUTO ON button down for a few seconds. The previously set auto start time will be displayed. Use the Hour and Minute buttons to set the desired auto on time. After 2 seconds the time will stop flashing and the machine is programmed.
- Press the PROG/AUTO ON button. The button will light up blue letting you know its set to go.
Washer and Dryer
- The washing machines are preloaded with detergent. There is no need to add any detergent.
- The start button needs to be held down for a few seconds for the machine to start.
Fireplace Instructions
- Open the flue by pushing the arm forward. It should be open, but please check.
- Turn on the induction fan to create positive airflow up the chimney to draw the smoke OUT of the Lodge where we want it. Once the fire is going and the chimney is warm, the fan can be shut off. This switch is located to the left of the fireplace in the bar area.
- Use a lot of paper to the get the fireplace very hot and create good airflow out the chimney
- If any smoke comes into the unit make sure the range hood vent is off and open the patio door for a few minutes until the air smoke starts flowing up the chimney.
- Always keep the screen closed while the fire is burning to avoid sparks on the carpet
- Close the glass doors at night so wind does not blow ashes into the room
- Thanks! Enjoy the fireplace!
Baby Gates
The gates can easily be moved to any opening on the stair case that needs it. Simply pull the gate off the bracket and insert it in the brackets in the area you want it. Make sure you click it into the brackets. Pull the gate across the opening and then LOCK the top. For instructions on use, please go to the following link.
